Sourcewell ran a national competitive solicitation for Vehicle Exhaust Removal and Filtering Systems and awarded a master agreement to Jobbers Equipment Warehouse. Because that competitive process is already complete and on the public record, eligible agencies can buy directly from Jobbers under the contract. The solicitation that backs it satisfies the "competitively procured" requirement most public purchasing rules call for.
The master agreement runs for a four-year term, with the option for additional one-year extensions.
What Sourcewell Is
Sourcewell is a State of Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative that competitively solicits and awards master agreements on behalf of more than 50,000 participating public agencies across the United States and Canada. It does the legal and procedural work of running a public solicitation once, so individual member agencies don't have to repeat it for every purchase.

How to Become a Sourcewell Member
Becoming a Sourcewell member is easy. You can register on their website, and the application is free, so you don't have to worry about paying membership fees to access the benefits of our cooperative contract. The verification period only takes 24 hours before you become an official Sourcewell member.
You qualify for membership if:
- Your business or organization falls under government, education, or nonprofit agencies.
- Your organization is publicly funded.
- You are located in the United States, Canada, or one of their territories.
You have different options for applying to become a member, including applying online or through a paper-based application. Government agencies may need a Joint Exercise Powers or an Interlocal Agreement, and nonprofits may need to apply for an Associate Member Agreement.
